The Control Buttons
The statistical analysis calculator has three control buttons.
Button Entitled "Decimal"
In this mode the calculator will produce results in Decimal format whenever possible, like so:
-9999.10.0005987
However, the calculator will automatically produce results in Scientific Notation
when the results cannot be shown properly in Decimal format.
Button Entitled "Scientific"
In this mode the calculator will always produce results in Scientific Notation, like so:
-9.9991e35.987e-4Button Entitled "Calculate"
Perform the statistical analysis of your data list, by using any of these methods:
Click the button entitled "Calculate"
Click the button entitled "Decimal"
Click the button entitled "Scientific"
Press Enter or Return on keyboard
TIP:
Scientific notation is better for visualizing and working with big and small numbers, compared to decimal format.
Computes the statistical average of a list of input data, the population standard deviation, the sample standard deviation, the population variance, and the sample variance
Computes the linear regression of a list of input data, graphs the input data on a scatter plot, graphs the linear regression line, and displays the linear regression alpha and beta
